Low sawhorses
He re is a set of low (18") s awhorse s th at are made of some 2" S2S red oak I had o nhand from an earlier project. I had just enough for the pair but there are some spots where the re was not eno ugh materi al to re move some forklift scars. I expect there to be other scars soon enou gh. In t rue neanderthal fas hion I used h and tools f or all cu ts and planing and an electric drill for hoggin g out the through mortises. Red oak is on the hard side but sharp tools get through it just fine.
